1. Acceptance
By accessing or using CalorieBank, you agree to these Terms. Do not use the service if you do not agree.
2. Wellness and educational purpose
CalorieBank is a personal wellness, nutrition-awareness and activity-tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring or professional dietary care.
3. Estimates and device data
Calories, nutrition, hydration, burn, heart rate, routes, lifestyle scores, body metrics and progress scores may be estimated or supplied by devices and third parties. Results can be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Do not rely on CalorieBank for urgent health decisions or as a substitute for professional advice.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for entries you submit, device permissions you grant, decisions you make using the app and compliance with applicable laws. Do not intentionally duplicate workouts or enter false information to manipulate results.
5. AI and third-party services
AI food estimates, barcode results, device measurements, maps and other third-party information may be unavailable or incorrect. Review quantities, units and product information before confirming a transaction.
6. Subscriptions
Premium features may require an auto-renewing subscription processed by Apple. Pricing, trial terms, renewal, cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by the terms presented at purchase and Apple's applicable policies. Subscription access may need to be restored after reinstalling or changing devices.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected components except where law permits, upload harmful material, or use the service to violate another person's rights.
8. Intellectual property
CalorieBank, its branding, interface, content and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms provide a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app and do not transfer ownership.
9. Availability and changes
Features may change, be suspended or become unavailable. Compatibility depends on device, operating system, permissions, Apple Health sources, third-party services and network availability.
10. Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CalorieBank is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted operation or error-free estimates. CalorieBank and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the service.
11. Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to support@caloriebank.net.
