1. Information you provide

CalorieBank may process information you enter into the app, including profile details, food and beverage entries, portion information, hydration, supplements, workouts, weight, account preferences, transactions, feedback and support communications.

2. Apple Health information

When you grant permission, CalorieBank may read selected Apple Health data needed for app features. Depending on the features you use and the data available, this may include active and resting energy, workouts, heart rate, workout routes, steps, distance, standing, exercise time, daylight, sleep, mindfulness, weight, BMI, body fat, lean body mass, blood oxygen and cardio fitness.

Apple Health permission is requested by data type and remains under your control. You may change access through iPhone Settings or the Health app. CalorieBank does not use Apple Health information for advertising.

3. AI food and product analysis

When you use AI Food Entry, camera analysis or product scanning, the text, image or barcode information required to perform the request may be transmitted to service providers that process the request for CalorieBank. Avoid including unrelated personal or confidential information in food-analysis submissions.

4. How information is used

Information is used to provide and improve CalorieBank features, calculate account balances, estimate calories and nutrition, display trends and scores, prevent duplicate burn deposits, support subscriptions, respond to support requests, detect errors and maintain security.

5. Storage and retention

Some information may be stored locally on your device. Information used for server-assisted features, account recovery, subscription support or AI analysis may be processed or retained by CalorieBank and its service providers for only as long as reasonably necessary for those functions, security, legal obligations and dispute resolution.

6. Sharing

CalorieBank may share information with service providers that perform hosting, AI processing, product lookup, subscription validation, analytics, security or support functions on its behalf. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.

CalorieBank does not sell Apple Health information.

7. Your choices

You can decline or revoke Apple Health permissions, stop using AI or barcode features, correct app entries, manage subscription access through Apple, and contact CalorieBank regarding privacy questions or account information.

8. Children

CalorieBank is not intended for children under 13. Users under the age required by local law should use the app only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

9. Security and international processing

Reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

10. Changes and contact
